Q&A with designer, Glenda Swanson
What do you base your design principals on?
Raising four children and cooking all the time I found most important part of the kitchen
was function. Once you make it functional you can make it beautiful.
Who is your favorite designer/artist?
Monet is my favorite artist. I find his art to be very peaceful.
Do you think of the big picture first or bits and pieces?
The big picture comes to mind first and then I focus on the small things.
As in life, it's the small things that matter most.

What do you waste your time doing?
I don't consider it wasting time, but when I'm not working I am usually babysitting
or playing with my 5 grandchildren.
Who would you team up with to design a room?
I have a very good team that I work with and those are the people with whom I would design a room.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I don't know, I probably never want to grow up. I want to be Peter Pan forever.
