Kim has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Interior Design from the Illinois Institute of Art.

She also has an Associates Degree in Culinary Art from the Cooking & Hospitality Institute of Chicago / Le Cordon Bleu.

After completing her Bachelor’s degree, she began as an interpreter of construction documents for a small millwork company.

Her next move was toward her passion, in interior design. As a design assistant at a large, high end Kitchen and Bath showroom in Barrington she worked in many phases of the project. She worked for a year and a half as a design assistant.

Currently she is involved in all aspects of Cabinets at Danda / Studio West projects. From working with clients and manufacturers, to designing kitchen, baths, writing orders and visiting job sites to bringing designs to life thru CAD. Kim is responsible for ensuring the project runs smoothly.
